We didn’t know Dean Muscardin before we started doing
business with him. We met him long
distance via the internet. We live in
Airdrie, Alberta and were looking to relocate to the Winfield / Kelowna
area. We found a house he had listed on
the MLS website and then emailed him for more information which he was very
quick to get back to us. When we asked
him if he could show us a few houses on the May long weekend he was very willing
to help us out.
As luck would have it we found our dream house that day. With Dean’s help we put in an offer and
before we could respond to the counter offer another party got in with a higher
bid and we didn’t get the house. As
disappointed as we were Dean didn’t let us get discouraged. He quickly did what he does best and found us
a couple of alternatives. It seemed he
never rested – he was always working very hard on our behalf. In the end the other deal never closed and
with Dean constantly keeping an eye on the situation he had us promptly put in
another offer that was accepted as a backup in case the other deal fell
through which is eventually what happened and we got our perfect home.
If it wasn’t for Dean’s persistent nature and his concern for
doing his due diligence we wouldn’t have gotten the house. We owe it all to him.

It has been a year ago in March since my husband Doug and I
sold our home in Calgary; when life became an intense and exhausting adventure.
For one and a half years before we purchased our house in
Kelowna, Doug searched the internet for possible homes to investigate.
We made three separate trips to BC in search for our next
residence. By the time we arrived in Dean’s office, we had visited 14 cities
and communities, viewed 120 or more properties, and dealt with 12 realtors in
the process. This was going to be our last search before going back to Calgary.
Renting was our next option.
Dean didn’t grab his car keys and start driving minutes
after our first meeting, he spent time visiting in his office so we could relax
together, discuss the places scheduled for viewing, get to know one another and
build confidence in his ability to lead us.
When we struck out, we did so with enthusiasm and the day
was FUN. Dean did something that no other realtor did. He took time to stop for
breaks including lunch.
Every other realtor made us go through all the homes
(usually 10) without a break until we were done. By that time I had a migraine
and was so hungry I didn’t care about what we saw nor did I feel that a
personal interest was taken in us on our human journey.
Relocating was a huge deal to us!
Lunch was a great time for conversation about what we had
seen and what we were going to spend the rest of the day viewing. It gave us a
time to reflect and begin again fresh and inspired for the rest of the
afternoon. We chatted, laughed, joked and began to like and respect this man
who was helping us with a very important life changing decision.
By the end of the day we found what we were looking for.
Home.
Dean presented himself as one who was interested in Doug and
I as individuals and was willing to spend the time to show us that. We never
got the impression that he needed to hurry us through; in contrast he made us
feel like we were more important than a schedule.
Dean was fun, informative, professional and spent enough time
in dialogue with us to really listen and learn what we desired to find.
